Paul Zahradnik, President
Paul formed Amherst Appraisal in 1987, after working as an auto damage appraiser and manager for a variety of auto and appraisal companies in Western Massachusetts. He got his auto damage appraisal certification from Springfield Technical College, is a licensed auto damage appraiser in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Vermont, and is an I-CAR Platinum Individual. As president, Paul oversees his staff as well as marketing for the company, manages finances, and appraises automobiles, heavy equipment, and property damage. He always makes sure that he and his team provide great service. In his spare time he enjoys kayaking, traveling and hiking.
Jim Dotiwalla, Auto Damage Appraiser
Jim is described by those who know him as friendly and organized, with a reputation for giving prompt service. Prior to working at Amherst Appraisal, he was a repair process manager and auto damage appraiser for Balise Collision. He is trained in collision repair, damage analysis, estimating, management, auto damage appraising. In addition, he has almost twenty years of experience within the appraisal industry. He is also a Massachusetts certified appraiser and an I-CAR Platinum Individual. Jim is a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Melisa Prescott, Office Manager
Randy Knoll, Auto Damage Appraiser
Randy has been in the Automobile Industry for all of his 30+ year career. Prior to working at Amherst Appraisal, he was a Sr Staff appraiser for a local Insurance Company for the majority of those years. He is trained in collision repair, damage analysis, estimating, management, auto damage appraising. He is a Massachusetts certified appraiser and an I-CAR Platinum Individual. Randy likes to spend his spare time riding his motorcycle, camping and spending time with his partner and dog.
Jeffrey Zahradnik, Claims Processor
Jeffrey started working for Amherst Appraisal in 2012 after prior work as a carpenter. He brings a unique blend of organizational and handyman skills, assuring that Amherst Appraisal runs as smoothly as possible. A California native, his passions include golfing, cooking, and mountain biking. He always greets you with a kind word and a smile.
